BUFFALO, NY, November 26, 2012 – The American Red Cross is proud to host The Clement House Holiday Gift Show on Saturday, December 1 and Sunday, December 2 from 11:00am to 6:00pm at the American Red Cross - Clement Mansion, 786 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo. Open to the public, guests can shop from 24 local artists with 20% of all sales to benefit the local work of the American Red Cross, Serving Erie & Niagara Counties. Admission and parking are free.

Erie County, NY- Dunkin’ Donuts will be giving a real caffeine jolt to Erie County Clerk’s Office “Thank-A-Vet” Discount Program.  “We at Dunkin’ Donuts love our veterans, and our participation in the Erie County Clerk’s “Thank-A- Vet” Discount Program shows how grateful we are for their service to our country,” stated Timothy E. Cloe, whose firm Northern Star Restaurant Management Inc., has been running Dunkin’ Donut franchises in Erie, Chautauqua and portions of Niagara counties since March 2011.

All Erie County Dunkin’ Donuts locations will be offering 10% discount to Veterans presenting the Erie County Clerk’s Office “Thank-A-Vet” discount card. 

“I am pleased to partner with Dunkin’ Donuts to offer this discount to our veterans,” said Erie County Clerk Chris Jacobs. “Veteran’s Day is an opportunity for us to recognize and celebrate our nation’s heroes, and the Thank-A-Vet Discount Program allows us to show our gratitude all year long.”

Farmers & Artisans, offering the best products and produce from Western New York’s farms and food artisans, is now taking orders for their delicious Thanksgiving pies and dinner fixings. Pie flavors include apple with lattice and crumb topping, apple elderberry with crumb topping, cherry with almond crumb topping, concord grape with crumb topping, pecan with maple syrup and traditional pumpkin.

All pies are handmade in the Farmers & Artisans bakery using local fruit, butter, organic flour and other all-natural ingredients.
