“I to the world am like a drop of water

That in the ocean seeks another drop,

Who, falling there to find his fellow forth,

Unseen, inquisitive, confounds himself.”

Act 1, Scene 2

Buffalo Seminary is proud to present The Comedy of Errors by William Shakespeare as its 2013 Marion McNulty Dillon ’22 Theatre Production. The play will be performed by an all-female cast in the Margaret L. Wendt '03 Performing Arts Center at Sem, located at 205 Bidwell Parkway, Buffalo, from March 7-9, 2013.

One of Shakespeare's earliest plays, The Comedy of Errors is the first comedic work to be directed for Sem by Theatre Instructor Susan Drozd, a veteran of the local theatre scene. Reflecting on the challenges of putting on a comedy, she explains that "comedy is meticulous and specific." She adds that successful delivery requires buy-in from all her actors. Several of the cast members have studied and presented the works of Shakespeare through advanced theatre classes with Ms. Drozd at Sem. After a special preview for their school community, the students will perform for the general public. All are welcome!

Thursday, March 7, 7 p.m.

Friday, March 8, 7 p.m.

Saturday, March 9, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Ticket prices - Adults: $10, Students: $5, Students under 12: $3
