Annunciation Students Visit Rural/Metro Medical Services

Seventh- and eighth-grade students participating in the new Center for Health Science at Annunciation School in Elma participated in their first field trip on Thursday, October 6. Their destination was Rural/Metro Medical Services located at 481 William L. Gaiter Parkway in Buffalo.

During their trip, students met with trained medical professionals who provided an overview of the company, visited Rural/Metro’s state-of-the-art communications center, and explored ambulances and other emergency vehicles.

The Center for Health Science at Annunciation School is an innovative two-year curriculum that offers students hands-on opportunities in a variety of health science environments. Among the supporters of the Center are Independent Health, Catholic Health and Kaleida Health.
