National Start! Walking Day is April 6th!  The American Heart Association asks all American’s to become physically active by walking. Everyone is encouraged to bring their sneakers to work and take at least 30 minutes out of their day to get up and walk. It’s a great way to start your journey towards a heart-healthy lifestyle.

Take a stand against heart disease and take a walk for 30 minutes next Wednesday, April 6th. Get others involved, too!   Brisk walking for 30 minutes a day can lower both bad cholesterol (LDL) levels and high blood pressure.

Heart Walk, the American Heart Association’s premier fundraiser, gives people an opportunity to improve their health through walking while helping fund the fight against heart disease and stroke.
