The Greater East Aurora Chamber of Commerce’s 46th annual Street Festival & Sidewalk Sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 25, on Main Street in the beautiful Village of East Aurora. The event will feature more than 100 vendors, plenty of activities for kids and families, bargains on a wide variety of items and much more!

East Aurora native Mary Burt will sing the National Anthem at 9:45 a.m. with the American Legion Post #362 Color Guard, while a sound system will provide musical entertainment beginning at 9:30 a.m. The popular Chalk Walk Murals, sponsored by the Town of Aurora Recreation Department, will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Rince Na Tiarna Irish Dancers will perform from 10:30 to 10:50 a.m., followed by the Kempo Martial Arts Academy from 11:30 to 11:45 a.m., Body & Soul Fitness from 12:30 to 12:45 p.m., and the Hoffman School of Dance from 2 to 2:20 p.m.

West Herr of East Aurora will host a new car display from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at TNT Oil Change on Main Street, while the Holland NASCAR Pace Car will be on display from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Unyts will host a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Immanuel Lutheran Church on Pine Street will host a Fisher-Price Collectors Club Show & Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Operation Kids, an educational program for young entrepreneurs ages 6 to 15, will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. With guidance from the Greater East Aurora Chamber of Commerce, Operation Kids showcases youth businesses and provides basic lessons in creating a business plan, finance, customer service and more. Operation Kids sponsors include University Pediatric Dentistry at ToyTown, Fisher-Price, Hidden Valley Animal Adventure, M&T Bank, Tops Markets and Hartford Badges.

“This annual event allows us to not only showcase our Main Street merchants, but businesses throughout the entire village as well,” said Gary Grote, executive director of the Greater East Aurora Chamber of Commerce. “We encourage visitors to spend the entire day with us and get to know all of our village attractions, from the historic Roycroft Campus to our many shops, restaurants, parks and businesses!”

West Herr of East Aurora is the event’s presenting sponsor. Supporting sponsors include the East Aurora Auction & Expo Center, Fidelis Care and Seneca Health Care Center.
