East Aurora, NY - All educators are invited to Hawk Creek Wildlife Center, Inc. for free Teacher Days on Saturdays, May 14, 21, and June 4, 2011 from 1:00-3:00pm to discover the many wild educational opportunities awaiting them!

Teachers, scout leaders, homeschool, camp, and group coordinators are welcome to visit the Center for FREE to meet with Hawk Creek’s wildlife educators, over 80 animals, and discover the many exciting educational services provided, including the new Exploration Kits for teacher loan. Hawk Creek Wildlife Center, Inc. presents over 2,500 live wildlife educational programs each year to children and adults throughout New York, Ohio, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania and has been featured on PBS, National Geographic, Rachel Ray Show, and Late Night with Conan O’Brien.  Every program offers face-to-face encounters with live wildlife from Western New York and around the world. Hawk Creek’s new Exploration Kits provide students and campers with hands-on artifacts for an engaging hands-on experience with unique, real, and exciting animal tracking and American Indian materials. The Exploration Kits were made possible through a generous grant from the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo.

Founded in 1987, Hawk Creek Wildlife Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to creating understanding and knowledge of the natural world and its relationship to humankind through environmental education, wildlife rehabilitation, and conservation.
