Destination: EARTH 2011 - The Wild Corners of the World

East Aurora, NY - Take a wild expedition around the world at Hawk Creek Wildlife Center’s Destination: EARTH event Saturday, April 30, 2011 from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

Gather up the family for a flying bird show with majestic eagles, hawks, falcons, and charismatic vultures! All children will receive a passport for their journey to the wild corners of the world where they will meet live owls, exotic birds, and some of the most elusive wildcats…the Siberian lynx, African serval, ocelot, and more! Upon completion of their journey, young travelers will earn a wild souvenir to take home!

Experience the rare opportunity to stand face-to-face with our national symbol, the bald eagle, at the unique Walk With the Eagles® exhibit. Enjoy the food, entertainment, gift store, and hands-on activities for all ages. Bring your camera for a day of wild and rare photo opportunities. With over 80 animals and activities for the whole family, Hawk Creek is a great place to celebrate Earth Day!

Hawk Creek has been featured on Rachael Ray, Conan O’Brien, PBS, and was voted a Blue Planet Hero by National Geographic. Founded in East Aurora in 1987, Hawk Creek is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing wildlife education, rehabilitation, and conservation services to the community.

Event parking is free and tickets are $10 for adults, $9 for Veterans and seniors, $8 for children, and $26 for a family pass. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or online.
