Take Flight at BIRD OF PREY DAY

East Aurora - Strap yourself in as summer takes flight at Hawk Creek Wildlife Center’s annual Bird of Prey Day on Saturday, June 18, 2011, 11:00am-4:00pm! Enjoy one-of-a-kind, up-close and personal encounters with local and exotic wildlife. Live birds of prey will zoom past audiences during the thrilling “Avian Air Force” show and event guests will have the unique opportunity to participate in the enrichment and training of Hawk Creek’s animal ambassadors. Invite dad to bring his camera for an unforgettable Father’s Day experience with amazing photo opportunities!

Also featured will be rare, behind-the-scenes wild cat feedings, entertainment, children activities and exhibits, gift shop, and refreshments. Children will have their own “Flight Mission” to take part in and, upon returning to base, will earn their “wings”.

Hawk Creek’s incredible wildlife includes hawks, owls, falcons, vultures, eagles, wild cats and more!  Stand face-to-face with our national symbol, the bald eagle, in the Walk With the Eagles TM enclosure and witness an exclusive training session with Freedom, one of Hawk Creek’s bald eagle ambassadors.
