ROC ’n to Spring, an event to benefit the nonprofit Rural Outreach Center (ROC), will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 3, at the Elm Street Bakery, 72 Elm St., East Aurora. The ROC serves the rural poor in southern Erie County, working with individuals and families to help them become self-sustaining.

The benefit will feature great food by Elm Street Bakery, wine and beer, many one-of-a-kind silent auction items, and music by Doug Yeomans! Among the great prizes waiting to be won are a one-week stay for six at Oasis Lakes at the Fountain Resort in Orlando (near Disney World), plus $500 cash; a diamond pendant valued at $850 donated by Rahn Jewelers; six months of flowers valued at $180 donated by Flowers by Nature; a dozen bottles of premium wine valued at $400; and a gourmet dinner for six with wine pairings, valued at $600, at The Roycroft Inn.

Tickets to the event are just $50 and are available at the Elm Street Bakery.
