Sacred Journeys, a four-part series with conversations on spirituality, common bonds, forgiveness and ecumenical dialogue, will take place in Selbert Hall at Annunciation Church, 7580 Clinton St., Elma.

The series kicks off at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, with “Inclusive Spirituality” with Rev. Thomas Colgan, a professor at Canisius College. A relaxed evening of conversation, prayer and refreshments, Fr. Colgan will talk about interacting with people of faith traditions that are very different from the Christian experience.

Part 2 of the Sacred Journeys series will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 21. “Beyond Our Differences,” a movie and group discussion, will explore what the great religious leaders of our time say about spirituality and one universal expression of hope.

Part 3, “The Power of Forgiveness,” a movie and group discussion, takes place at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 18. Can forgiveness transform your life? Why do people of every faith tradition and culture find that forgiveness has the power to heal both the individual and the community? This session will explore these questions and more!

The final part of the series, “A Festival of Faiths,” is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, in Annunciation’s school building. Workshops in the Buddhist, Jewish, Islamic and Hindu faith traditions will be offered.

All events are free and open to the public. For more information on Annunciation Church, please visit www.annunciation.cc.
