Roycrofters At Large Association Hosts Annual Holiday Show

An Annual holiday tradition in East Aurora, NY is the Roycroft Arts & Crafts Winter Festival.  The Festival takes place on December 3rd & 4th, 2011 from 10am-5pm at the East Aurora Main Street School, East Aurora NY.  This year’s event will showcase 35 Juried Artisans, all of whom are Roycroft Renaissance Artisans.  The event traditionally has been a wonderful venue to start the holiday season of gift giving with a wonderful selection of handcrafted items made with the highest standards in craftsmanship.  Many media’s are available including jewelry, wood, clay, book arts, metal, tile and many other art forms.  Holiday music and refreshments will be available, admission just a $1 for adults.

The Roycroft Renaissance Artisans have been accepted by the Roycrofters At Large Association’s  Master Artisans based on their superior quality of work through a Juried process.  These Artisans proudly display the registered double R mark representing the quality of their work.  The Roycrofters At Large Association was founded in 1976 with the mission to keep the Arts & Crafts Movement alive on the Roycroft Campus and throughout the world.  The organization consists of many members locally and across the United States who support the mission of the organization, including over 68 Roycroft Renaissance Artisans.

The very popular Goodie Box raffle will be featured at the event.  This fabulous raffle includes a wooden box, crafted by a Roycroft Renaissance Artisan and includes the entire contents donated by Roycroft Renaissance Artisans to one winner drawn at this year’s Roycroft Summer Festival in June.  The total value of the Goodie Box and contents usually reaches well over $5,000.

Additional information about the show is available at (716) 655-7252, email: roycroftmail@verizon.net or visit the web site www.ralaweb.com
