HAMBURG, N.Y. – The spirit of the season will be celebrated with festive Christmas favorites and a sing-a-long at a special holiday pops concert performed by the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 6 in Hilbert College’s William E. Under the direction of guest conductor Paul Ferington, music will include Stephenson’s “Holiday Overture” and “Swing Carol Fantasy,” Humperdinck’s “Evening Prayer” and “Dream Pantomime” from Hansel and Gretel, and Leontovich’s “Carol of the Bells.”

Christmas classics “Silent Night,” “Away in the Manger” and “Parade of the Tin Soldiers” will feature handbell soloist Diane Dick.

Soprano Jennifer Stafford will sing a medley of “I Saw Three Ships” and “Bring a Torch” and also “The Twelve Days After Christmas.”

Along with the ever popular “Deck the Halls,” a Christmas carol sing-a-long will include “The First Noel,” “Silent Night,” “We Wish You a Merry
