An Antique Radio Swap Meet and the highly anticipated Buffalo Niagara Scottish Festival featuring the 2016 Masters World Championship Highland Games highlight the August calendar at Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village, 3755 Tonawanda Creek Road, Amherst.

The Niagara Frontier Wireless Association will hold its annual Antique Radio Swap Meet from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 6. Radios dating from the 1920s through the 1960s will be offered for sale along with a wide selection of vintage electronics, tube amps, phonographs, speakers, advertising and assorted parts. The Swap Meet will be held outdoors in the main parking lot, and admission to the event is free. Admission to Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village is additional and available during open business hours from noon to 4:30 p.m.  

The 32nd annual Buffalo Niagara Scottish Festival featuring the 2016 Masters World Championship Highland Games will take place Aug. 19-21 at BNHV. Highlights of the festival include Scottish fare and beer, bag piping, clan row, dancing, Celtic vendors and the ever-popular Highland Games presented by the Buffalo Heavies! Hours are 4 to 10 p.m. Aug. 19, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Aug. 20 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 21. Daily admission tickets are available, as well as a weekend pass. 

The American Rogues headline a long lineup of musical entertainment planned throughout the Scottish Festival.
