School Board Hopes to Pick Internal Candidate for Interim Post

The East Aurora School Board held a special meeting on Wed., Dec. 22 to accept the resignation of Superintendent James Bodziak and to begin the process of finding a replacement for him. Bodziak will be taking a post at the Frontier Central School District in February.

Districts have several options in the way they search for new superintendents. The Iroquois School Board recently decided have Robert D. Olczak, the interim leader of Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES, act as a consultant in Iroquois current search, though private consultants were considered.
