Tee Off to Support Wildlife

East Aurora, NY - Cure that cabin fever while golfing for wildlife at Hawk Creek Wildlife Center’s first annual Eagles & Birdies Golf Tournament Saturday, February 12, 2011. The event will be held at Cyber Creek Indoor Golf Facility in Elma, beginning with the Tournament kick-off at 1:00pm, followed by the 4:00pm-7:00pm After Party. Participants can contact Hawk Creek at 716-652-8646 or www.hawkcreek.org for event tickets and information.  All proceeds benefit the nonprofit Hawk Creek Wildlife Center of East Aurora, NY.

First timers to seasoned “pros” are invited to partake in the 9 hole Tournament, while winning the satisfaction of supporting Hawk Creek, WNY’s leading outreach environmental education center. Event participants can bring or borrow golf clubs for a realistic experience using Cyber Creek Indoor Golf Facility’s nine high-tech simulators. Event ticket holders will also enjoy a delicious buffet and unlimited draft and well drinks at the 4:00pm-7:00pm After Party at Cobber’s by the Creek Restaurant and Pub. Additional After Party tickets are also for sale. Guests can take advantage of $1 per bottle and top shelf drink upgrades and the 50/50 Raffle.

Eagles & Birdies ticket sales sustain the ongoing mission of Hawk Creek Wildlife Center, Inc. in East Aurora, NY. “Proceeds from events such as these allow Hawk Creek to continue serving the community through our quality environmental education, and internationally recognized wildlife rehabilitation and conservation services,” states Loretta Jones, Hawk Creek’s founder and executive director.

Tournament tickets are $100 and include admittance to the Tournament and After Party as well as a free guest ticket to the After Party. The After Party only tickets are $40. Tickets can be purchased on the website www.hawkcreek.org and by calling Hawk Creek at 716-652-8646.
