Canisius College Chorale to Present Concert at Annunciation Church

Canisius College Chorale to Present Concert at Annunciation Church

The Canisius College Chorale, under the direction of Frank Scinta, will present Sacred Spaces, an evening of great choral music, at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at Annunciation Church, 7580 Clinton St., Elma.

The concert will feature works by Vivaldi, Lotti, Hogan, Dawson and others. The event is free, but a free-will offering will be collected. Sacred Spaces stems from an idea the choir proposed several years ago to feature its music in some of Western New York’s most beautiful and acoustically resonant environments — namely, the sanctuaries of our area’s churches. As a result, the choir has visited nearly 40 present and former houses of worship with its repertoire of sacred and secular music spanning five centuries.

Show Us Your Holiday Lights

Show Us Your Holiday Lights

Western New Yorkers were out in force this weekend stringing their homes with holiday lights and setting out decorations on their lawns. Now it’s time to share your handiwork with our viewers and WGRZ.com visitors.

Send us a photo of your holiday lights display and we’ll post it here, plus we’ll be selecting photos to feature in newscasts and on our Facebook page in the coming weeks. Please be sure to include your name and location so others can come out and enjoy your display in person.

Here are some tips on how to get the best photograph possible.
